The standard Bluetooth name visible to devices trying to connect (also known as ‘friendly name’) is “TIMBERtune”. This name is programmed into the module and you cannot change it.

However, with this customization service we can program the name you choose in your module. Maybe you want to have a unique name (‘Bob’s BOOMBOX’) or you plan to build several devices used in the same area and want a better way to identity the different devices.
